Following on from our French program last year – Sylvie led a group time where the children listened to the brown bear story in English, read by Nicola. Then Sylvie told the story in French using felt pictures. We decided to continue on our French journey by singing:
The Bonjour, bonjour song. (good morning) “bonjour, bonjour”,
Comment ca va? (how are you)

Comment ca va aujourd’hui ? (how are you today)
We continued with :
Pomme de reinette et pomme d’api / (Pippin apple and lady apple)
Tapis tapis rouge / (Red carpet carpet)

And finishing with the aurevoir song : (goodbye) Aurevoir, aurevoir,

During the French session, our children showed a strong interest and seemed happy to sing all the different songs with Sylvie.
